# Manchester City: Fans debate ‘inconsistent’ Raheem Sterling

**The form of Raheem Sterling was debated by numerous Manchester City fans on social media following a tweet by [@City\_Chief](https://twitter.com/City_Chief/status/1258464113635647488) asking followers to describe the winger.**

The 25-year-old began the season in scintillating fashion with five goals in his first three Premier League games, including a hat-trick in the 5-0 win at West Ham. Sterling, who has been capped [56 times by England](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/raheem-sterling/nationalmannschaft/spieler/134425/verein_id/3299), has found the net 20 times in all competitions this term, including 11 Premier League strikes, but remarkably every one of those goals came before the start of 2020.
