The 17-year-old has yet to feature in a first team squad at the Etihad Stadium but, with Pep Guardiola [giving Phil Foden a debut](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42055934) at the same age two seasons ago, the manager has previous in promoting young talent to the senior ranks if he feels they are good enough.
