**Speaking in a[press conference](https://twitter.com/City_Chief/status/1324792076433825796), Man City boss Pep Guardiola addressed the mood surrounding an upcoming clash with Premier League title rivals Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium – with the fan favourite manager making a presidential pun that ‘all votes must be counted’.**

Guardiola, who responded when asked if this looming match was a title decider, hinted at the importance of this encounter by making a reference to the recent presidential election.

Flocking to the footage on Twitter, plenty of Sky Blues had their say over the comments from their boss – with Guardiola also claiming that while this could be a decisive match, there is also a lot of points still yet to play for.
