# Man City: Fans gutted at Lukas Nmecha sale

**Manchester City fans are gutted after the club announced they have sold Lukas Nmecha to Wolfsburg this summer.**

The Citizens are preparing for the new campaign as they aim to recover from their 1-0 Champions League final defeat to Chelsea in Porto. However, so far they are yet to make a single first-team signing despite heavy interest in the likes of Harry Kane ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/12309404/harry-kane-again-tells-tottenham-he-wants-to-leave-as-manchester-city-manchester-united-chelsea-lie-in-wait)) and [Jack Grealish](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/manchester-city-transfer-rumours/man-city-manchester-city-pep-guardiola-jack-grealish-harry-kane-sergio-aguero/).

In fact, it seems the Etihad Stadium outfit are looking to move on a number of players this summer. Eric Garcia ([fcbarcelona.com](https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/news/2163526/eric-garcia-is-fc-barcelonas-second-signing)) and [Sergio Aguero](https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/football/first-team/news/2163393/fc-barcelona-sign-sergio-kun-aguero) have both completed moves to Barcelona, and now Nmecha has transferred from City to the Bundesliga ([mancity.com](https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/lukas-nmecha-joins-wolfsburg-63762059)).

The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Anderlecht last term and also finished as the top scorer at the U21 European Championships this summer ([uefa.com](https://www.uefa.com/under21/statistics/)).

The news was [shared on Twitter by City’s official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/1416119908358893574), and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
