Manchester United and Chelsea fans are at each others throats in the Transfer Tavern more often than not as it is, though reports in the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3549282/Manchester-United-Chelsea-eye-Antoine-Griezmann-transfer.html) claiming the two titans will battle it out for a major summer transfer has only added to it.

While it’s reasonably light-hearted (for now) it could turn out to be one of the sagas of the summer with both Premier League giants [reportedly](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3549282/Manchester-United-Chelsea-eye-Antoine-Griezmann-transfer.html) chasing Atletico Madrid Antoine Griezmann.

The Frenchman has established himself as one on of the top attacking players in Europe, excelling since a big move from former club Real Sociedad.

He has scored 30 goals across all competitions this season, prompting suggestions he could leave *Los Rojiblancos* in what could be a huge deal.

In stark contrast to the faltering Eden Hazard, the 25-year old has gone from strength to strength since coming to the fore last season.

Since the end of February alone, he’s notched an impressive 10 goals.

He is [understood](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3549282/Manchester-United-Chelsea-eye-Antoine-Griezmann-transfer.html) to be willing to move to the Premier League this summer, though there is [said](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3549282/Manchester-United-Chelsea-eye-Antoine-Griezmann-transfer.html) to be concern over whether or not the *Les Blues* ace could deal with the physical environment.

The two giants of English football are [believed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3549282/Manchester-United-Chelsea-eye-Antoine-Griezmann-transfer.html) to be scouting him further as they consider a move that would likely break the British transfer record.

**Would Griezmann be an upgrade on Hazard? Do you think he’s ready for life in the Premier League?**
