# Manchester United: Fans delighted with Jadon Sancho transfer update from Fabrizio Romano

**Manchester United’s transfer saga with Jadon Sancho has rumbled on for a [number of months](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/man-united-transfer-sancho-news-18122759?_ga=2.12741815.1849571315.1587367040-1272744344.1573971676) now, with seemingly no end in sight.**

Last week, [ESPN](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4108421/chelseaman-united-making-transfer-moves-to-challenge-liverpoolman-city-for-premier-league-title) claimed that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign Sancho in the summer. [James Benson](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1295821/Jadon-Sancho-Sets-Heart-On-Man-Utd-Transfer-Borussia-Dortmund-Told-Of-Premier-League-Wish) added that the winger has told Borussia Dortmund he wants to leave Germany and return to the Premier League.

The England international has emerged as one of [Europe’s hottest talents](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1295821/Jadon-Sancho-Sets-Heart-On-Man-Utd-Transfer-Borussia-Dortmund-Told-Of-Premier-League-Wish) after establishing himself as a first-team regular at the Signal Iduna Park. Now, [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1273551312156864513?s=20) has revealed that Sancho will accept an offer from Man United, although no official bid has been made yet.

[\[freshpress-poll id=”305138″\]](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/[freshpress-poll%20id=%22305138%22])

The 20-year-old, who is [Dortmund’s top scorer](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/borussia-dortmund/top-scorers) this season, has scored 17 goals and 16 assists in [the Bundesliga](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/346300/Show/Jadon-Sancho) so far. He has been linked with a move to [Old Trafford](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/man-united-transfer-sancho-news-18122759?_ga=2.12741815.1849571315.1587367040-1272744344.1573971676) for a very long time, stemming back to Jose Mourinho’s infamous stint in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.

Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans gushed over Romano’s tweet, with one supporter commenting that Marcus Rashford is “unreal” in reference to the star’s [charm offensive](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/jadon-sancho-marcus-rashford-manchester-united-transfer-agent-a4411951.html), and another urging Ed Woodward to “get it done.”

> Everyone can see our biggest weakness is right wing. Sancho is a world-class RW putting up insane numbers who could play at the highest level for the next decade. It’s not difficult to figure out why fans are so excited at the prospect of seeing him at the club.
