# Manchester United: Fans go wild over Jadon Sancho transfer update

**A number of Manchester United fans have reacted excitedly to a fresh transfer update on the possibility of Jadon Sancho coming to Old Trafford.**

Norwegian journalist Fredrik Filtvedt reported for [Dagbladet](https://www.dagbladet.no/studio/rykteborsen/628?post=43843) that the Red Devils are preparing a bid for the 20-year-old which will be sent to Borussia Dortmund in the coming days, with the transfer window closing next Monday. The update was later shared on Twitter by [@utdreport](https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1310285688034799621).

According to [Dagbladet](https://www.dagbladet.no/studio/rykteborsen/628?post=43843), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that a deal can be done before then, with the player reportedly keen on making the move and being told that the transfer should go ‘smoothly’.

Sancho has been [linked with United for many months](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/15/manchester-united-transfer-jadon-sancho-dortmund) now but remains a Dortmund player, with [some of the Old Trafford faithful not optimistic](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/manchester-united-transfer-rumours/man-united-fans-react-sancho-transfer-latest/) about a deal being done in this transfer window for the England winger, who has [35 goals and 45 assists in 102 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/401173/verein/16) for the Bundesliga club.

However, these United fans are in bullish mood after Filtvedt’s “big” update and are pleading for the club to “make it happen” before Monday’s deadline.
