# Manchester United: Fans react as Red Devils are interested in Thiago

**Bayern Munich ace Thiago Alcantara has been [heavily linked with Liverpool](https://www.abendzeitung-muenchen.de/sport/fcbayern/sieben-triple-sieger-koennten-bayern-verlassen-art-576722) recently, although it seems that Manchester United have now [declared](https://twitter.com/cfbayern/status/1300072218974707712?s=20) an interest in the Bayern Munich midfielder, which had generated considerable reaction from their fan base.**

This suggests that he is good at bringing the ball out of defence into attack and is also adept at breaking up opposition attacks. Such a player could be very good for the Red Devils’ squad, which already has high-profile attacking midfielders in Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes and a third such player who is at their level could make them very strong in that part of the pitch.
