# Man United: Fans want the club to sign Marcelo Brozovic

**A number of Manchester United fans want the club to sign Marcelo Brozovic after they were linked with a move for the Inter Milan midfielder.**

The Red Devils have had a mixed start to the campaign. As it stands, they are just two points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table)), but despite bringing Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford in the summer, they have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions ([manutd.com](https://www.manutd.com/en/matches/fixtures-results)), putting [pressure](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12424033/premier-league-hits-and-misses-crunch-time-for-ole-gunnar-solskjaer-and-manchester-united) on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a result.

During the transfer window, some fans may have thought that United should have made a move for a midfielder given their [troubles in this department](https://www.caughtoffside.com/2021/08/23/keane-on-man-united-weakness/), but they failed to do so. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via [The Sun](https://www.the-sun.com/sport/3695907/man-utd-news-live-brozovic-solskjaer-players-pogba-contract/)), the Red Devils are interested in signing £36m-valued Brozovic ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marcelo-brozovic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/156617)) in January, with Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham also interested.

The Croatian’s composure on the ball is evident in his [91.6%](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/87449/Show/Marcelo-Brozovic) passing accuracy in Serie A this season, which is better than [anyone to have started](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/32/Show/England-Manchester-United) a Premier League match for United in 2021/22.
