# Manchester City: Fans are unsure over Sane-Gnabry swap deal scenario

**Serge Gnabry has been on fire for Bayern Munich this season, prompting lots of interest in the winger’s potential availability for a big-money move, and with the German outfit showing a keen interest in Leroy Sane, it’s not too far-fetched to suggest a potential Sane-Gnabry swap deal on the cards next summer.**

Sane, who has been [linked relentlessly with a move](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/bayern-munich-chiefs-travel-england-20907663) to Bundesliga giants Bayern, tore his ACL in Manchester City’s Community Shield bout [against Liverpool at Wembley](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/08/04/liverpool-vs-manchester-city-community-shield-2019-live-score/) – sidelining one of the Sky Blues’ most exciting players and temporarily calming interest from the German champions.

However, with the news that the 23-year-old [could be back in 2020](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-injuries-silva-sane-17195764), the Bavarians are slowly reigniting their interest in the forward – who scored a bundle of crucial goals to help Pep Guardiola’s side win a coveted domestic treble.

This included scoring the winner at home to Liverpool in their [crunch 2-1 victory](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46690612) and bagging the second goal away at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby.

Of course, Gnabry, who [bagged four away to Spurs](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49872949) in the Champions League back in October, could be more than a worthy replacement – with some City supporters discussing that possible scenario and what they would do.

Here’s the divided consensus on Twitter:
