# Manchester City: Fans bash transfer link with Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic

**According to a report from [Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-man-city-want-midfielder-belief-might-expendable-summer/), Manchester City ‘[want](https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-man-city-want-midfielder-belief-might-expendable-summer/)‘ Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic as the Bosnian potentially nears the end of his time in Serie A – with many City fans going on to slam the update.**

Pjanic, who has started [20](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/30226/Show/Miralem-Pjanic) Serie A games for Juventus this campaign, is currently linked with a move away from Turin at the end of this season despite Maurizio Sarri’s seeming reliance on the midfield man.

Indeed, regardless of his fairly consistent playing time, [Corriere dello Sport](https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-man-city-want-midfielder-belief-might-expendable-summer/) have stated that Pjanic could be on the way out – with a move to the Premier League beckoning coupled with an estimated market value of £58.5 million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/miralem-pjanic/profil/spieler/44162)).

The 29-year-old has registered an [89.8%](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/30226/Show/Miralem-Pjanic) pass success rate this season, even higher than City star Kevin De Bruyne’s[81.7%](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/73084/Show/Kevin-De-Bruyne), even if the Juve man hasn’t quite managed to equal the Belgian’s key passes per game ratio ([3.7](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/73084/Show/Kevin-De-Bruyne)), as per [WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/73084/Show/Kevin-De-Bruyne).

Regardless, some Sky Blues fans aren’t particularly impressed with the link – citing the fact he is too ‘[old](https://twitter.com/imad_el_maoed/status/1240740662754107392?s=21)‘. Find all of their best comments down below.
