# Manchester City: Fans beg club not to sell Gabriel Jesus amid potential Juventus interest

**According to a report from Italian outlet [Tuttosport via Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/club-leading-race-tottenham-star-manchester-city-player-also-option/), Serie A giants Juventus could swoop for Gabriel Jesus as a fall-back option if they fail to capture Tottenham star Harry Kane – with many Sky Blues supporters urging their club to ignore the interest.**

Jesus, who has bagged 10 goals and four assists in the Premier League over 24 starts this season ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/279379/Show/Gabriel-Jesus)), is currently attracting Juve’s attention as a backup option should they fail to land Spurs striker Kane.

The Brazilian, while averaging a relatively steady goal haul domestically this season, has definitely impressed in the Champions League – netting five goals and assisting two others over[five](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/279379/Show/Gabriel-Jesus) European starts, including a headed equaliser at the Bernabeu. As a result, Juve are eyeing up the possibility of a swoop for the 22-year-old – with many Sky Blues fans imploring their club to ignore the interest. One fan even labelled Jesus as a future ‘[Aguero replacement](https://twitter.com/jdiazm11/status/1239209699754610689?s=21)‘.
