# Manchester City: Fans gush over Aymeric Laporte’s praise for Kevin De Bruyne

**After Manchester City ran riot away to Arsenal on Sunday, sealing a [comfortable 3-0 win](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWMjh7gVpfo&feature=onebox) and securing their first Premier League clean sheet [since late October](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKbS0iC6AYs&feature=onebox), supporters have praised defender Aymeric Laporte’s message on Twitter hailing one man.\**

Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne put on arguably his performance of the season so far, netting two sublime finishes and assisting Raheem Sterling in a first-half showing that stunned spectators.

The Belgian smashed the ball into the roof of the net inside the first two minutes before setting up Raheem Sterling on the counter-attack for a tap-in to make it 2-0. Shortly after, he scored the third with a thunderous strike into the bottom corner from outside the area.

De Bruyne’s masterclass has had[pundits purring](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpQGDF90sTY) since the full-time whistle, but Laporte’s tweet surrounding the former Wolfsburg man has also drawn praise, simply [stating on Twitter](https://twitter.com/laporte/status/1206278158925881344?s=21): “Ohhh Kevin de Bruyne …..”.

As a result, supporters have jumped to hail both men on social media – here’s what they had to say.
