# Manchester City: Fans praise Angelino following assured Burnley display

**Manchester City [initiated a buy-back clause](https://talksport.com/football/567989/angelino-manchester-city-resign-psv/) to bring Angelino back to the Etihad following a solid season with PSV Eindhoven, with the little Spaniard putting in an assured display away to Burnley on Tuesday evening which prompted loads of praise.**

There were many names that required due applause after City’s [4-1 dismantling of Burnley](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrNNRgRvoPo) at Turf Moor, with superstars Gabriel Jesus, Rodri, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne all springing to mind – but one man that may have went under the radar by comparison is Angelino – who looked [assured all night](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1212687/Man-City-player-ratings-Burnley-Jesus-Silva-De-Bruyne) on the left-flank.

A brace from Jesus, a stunner from Rodri and a cool drive into the bottom corner from Mahrez secured a brilliant three points at a tough ground for the Sky Blues – but these City supporters noticed how comfortable Angelino seemed at left-back.

Here’s what they had to say regarding the 22-year-old’s wonderful performance, including a huge comparison with David Silva.

> Angelino is a bald 17/18 szn David imo
