# Manchester City: Fans react as Gabriel Jesus to Bayern Munich transfer rumour emerges

**Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has proved a capable stand-in for Sergio Aguero so far this season, and now German champions Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation.**

Jesus, who has scored three goals in seven appearances for the champions so far this campaign [as per WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/279379/History/Gabriel-Jesus), has attracted interest from Bayern who are looking for striking reinforcements to aid star hitman Robert Lewandowski.

Most recently, the youngster scored the opener in City’s [2-0 away win at Crystal Palace](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50024394) and provided a crucial [assist](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKbS0iC6AYs&feature=onebox) for their opening goal against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Now, [the Sun reports](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10219769/man-city-will-demand-100m-for-gabriel-jesus-as-bayern-munich-show-transfer-interest/) that the champions have slapped a £100m price tag in order to deter Bayern’s interest in bringing the forward to Germany.

As a result, City fans have reacted to the rumours that the 22-year-old – who [signed a new long-term deal last year](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-city-news-gabriel-jesus-contract-a8475541.html) – is attracting interest from a European giant.

Here’s what City supporters had to say regarding the news:

> They really are the United of Germany, right down to sacking their scouting team off and just bidding on anyone we have/want.
