# Manchester City: Fans react to Theo Hernandez transfer links

**Some Manchester City fans have been reacting to [reports](https://www.getfootballnewsitaly.com/2021/manchester-city-interested-in-theo-hernandez-massive-offer-could-tempt-milan/) that Pep Guardiola is keen on signing Theo Hernandez.**

According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo for [Get Italian Football News](https://www.getfootballnewsitaly.com/2021/manchester-city-interested-in-theo-hernandez-massive-offer-could-tempt-milan/) \[via [City Chief](https://twitter.com/City_Chief/status/1437069578660626433) on Twitter\], Guardiola has been keeping a close eye on the left-back’s progress as a potential incoming. Longo also stated that only a ‘big offer’ will tempt AC Milan in allowing Hernandez to leave for the Premier League champions, with the player apparently claiming that he is happy at the San Siro.

With Benjamin Mendy suspended, Guardiola has been utilising [Joao Cancelo](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/joao-cancelo/leistungsdaten/spieler/182712) at left-back, and Hernandez could be a potential replacement for Mendy in the long run.

The 23-year-old has appeared [84 times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/theo-hernandez/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/339808) for the Rossoneri since moving from Real Madrid in 2019, scoring 15 goals and grabbing 14 assists in demonstrating his abundant attacking qualities.

Hernandez, who is valued at £45m by [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/theo-hernandez/profil/spieler/339808), has played every minute of Milan’s Serie A campaign so far as they have seen off Sampdoria, Cagliari and Lazio, while he made his senior debut for France in last week’s World Cup qualifying win over Finland.
