# Manchester City: Fans reminisce over hilarious Sergio Aguero dig

**[Speaking to Sporf back in 2017](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iQm6fOWqtw), Sergio Aguero produced one of his most memorable moments off the pitch during his Manchester City career.**

In an interview ahead of a looming Manchester Derby at the Etihad, Aguero was asked which Manchester United player he would have in the City team.

Responding in hilarious fashion, the Argentine took a moment to think over his verdict, looking particularly puzzled, but when he drew breath at long last, he could not pick any Red Devils man – stating [‘I prefer no-one’](https://twitter.com/city_xtra/status/1194962271094628352?s=21).

Sky Blues supporters particularly loved this response, prompting the clip to go viral and for Aguero to be praised for something he did off the football pitch for a change.

The South American became City’s [all-time top scorer back in 2017 against Napoli](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3ph59QLLjw) in the Champions League, cementing his legendary status after he scored arguably the most crucial goal in the club’s history [against QPR back in 2012](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/17973148).

There was already a long list of reasons for supporters to adore the striker, but this funny jibe just added one more.

Here’s how fans looked back on the moment:
