# Manchester City: Fans slam more links with Real Madrid star Isco

**According to a report from [El Desmarque via Man City Xtra](https://mcfcxtra.com/2019/12/26/real-madrid-star-favours-man-city-over-chelsea-transfer-informed-club-president-of-decision/), Real Madrid midfielder Isco has told club president Florentino Perez that he has no intention of moving to Chelsea and has instead set his sights on a switch to the Etihad Stadium – with supporters slamming this latest whisper.**

The Spaniard has been[famously linked](https://twitter.com/City_Xtra/status/1210258664063455232) with the Sky Blues for many seasons now, with the Spanish technician once [photoed](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/real-madrid-transfer-isco-guardiola-14466389) wearing and old City kit  – resulting in fans understandably having enough of the repetitiveness.

During the time Isco has been touted for a Premier League move, a wealth of elite midfielders have graced the turf in East Manchester – with David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva particularly shining in the middle of the park.

As a result, supporters don’t see the need in swooping for Isco – taking to Twitter and voicing their discontent towards the 27-year-old – here’s what they had to say.

> It’s tough really he had a chance to join us when pells was in charge! He bottled it and is now paying for a bad decision!

> Isco is too old for us anyway. If he cannot cement a place in Real Madrid he will never get into our midfield

> That boat has sailed. We don’t need him. Have Foden and B.Silva to take over from D.Silva
