# Manchester City: Fans would prefer Phil Foden over midfield transfer targets

**Manchester City are no longer interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco and are now turning their attention to AC Milan’s Suso, as reported by Spanish media outlet [El Desmarque](https://eldesmarque.com/madrid/real-madrid/noticias/168941-la-brutal-ultima-hora-de-isco-se-lo-ha-dicho-a-florentino-perez-ed).**

According to [El Desmarque](https://eldesmarque.com/madrid/real-madrid/noticias/168941-la-brutal-ultima-hora-de-isco-se-lo-ha-dicho-a-florentino-perez-ed), the Premier League champions are looking at Suso as a possible successor to David Silva, who is [leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48767169), and Manchester City-focused Twitter channel [@City\_Xtra](https://twitter.com/City_Xtra/status/1172209556262465536) conveyed the news to their followers.
