It's been a mixed start for club record signing Grealish but the England international has impressed when given a chance this season and netted his first goal of the season in 3-0 win at Wolves before the international break.
Now Campbell believes the rest of England could be in real trouble if the midfielder kicks on, explaining:
"Obviously Jack Grealish would love to be the flying winger beating six players but that’s not what is needed at Man City. What’s needed is you play your position, when the opportunity comes you either beat your man or pass it and be effective.
“He’s been effective in his last few games, scored the first goal which was great for him, good for his confidence.
“He’s got a Premier League winners medal and he hasn’t really started, he hasn’t really kicked on.
“I’d love to see him really do well and get his form for the World Cup because he could be a game-changer. If he starts to play as well as he did at Villa for City, we’re all in trouble.”

As per WhoScored, Grealish has actually dazzled when handed the chance by Guardiola, with only Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Joao Cancelo averaging better match ratings per 90 than the ex-Villan.
The key for City is utilising the 27-year-old's phenomenal dribbling, close control and unrivalled ability to draw opposition fouls - with no Sky Blues star completing more successful take-ons than Grealish so far this campaign.
When selected, he can prove to be a valuable asset, and it will certainly be interesting to see if he can continue to build upon his recent performances and make a name for himself at Eastlands.
