Irish sports presenter Shane Stapleton has praised 'understated' Manchester City star Rodri for his performance against Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

We are in full agreement with Stapleton that Rodri's contribution to this City team deserves far more attention. Indeed, it speaks volumes that the 26-year-old is an untouchable in Guardiola's ever-rotating starting XI.

Operating as a sole pivot in front of Guardiola's back four, the midfield general consistently helps to dictate matches with his physicality and sublime range of passing.
