Flocking to Twitter, many Manchester City fans have erupted over some 'good news' as they gear up for a crucial title race clash with Chelsea this afternoon.

In what will be a majorly crucial week for manager Pep Guardiola and his side, the Sky Blues not only take on one of their main title rivals at lunchtime, but also have Paris-Saint Germain waiting for them in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday.

After that, City will travel to Anfield and take on Liverpool next weekend for what is certain to be a significant encounter as Guardiola vies to retain the Premier League crown.

The Spaniard has had to cope with a mountain of injury issues recently, with the likes of Aymeric Laporte, John Stones, Rodri, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ilkay Gundogan recently unavailable.

Stones, Rodri and Laporte were all pictured back in training this week, however, and what's more for City, Manchester Evening News reporter Simon Bajowksi has now revealed that they have also travelled with the squad to face Chelsea (Twitter).
