Reacting to the latest news on Raheem Sterling and his fitness from the Daily Mail, via Man City Xtra, some Man City fans have had their say over what is seemingly good news for the Sky Blues and Pep Guardiola ahead of their international return against Tottenham Hotspur.
Sterling, who was out of action for England on international duty, could now return in time to face Spurs in north London – with the attacker reportedly back and available for selection ahead of the clash.
Should Sterling start against Tottenham?
No, Torres, Mahrez or Foden all ahead
The 25-year-old, finishing last campaign as the Sky Blues’ top scorer with 31 goals in all competitions, has impressed recently – but these City supporters still believe it’s bad news for him to feature against Tottenham.
One fan even claimed his return is the ‘worst news‘, especially considering the potential selection dilemma facing Guardiola with Ferran Torres in fine form and Gabriel Jesus back in the forward position.
