# Manchester City planning raid for Kylian Mbappe

**Manchester City extended their unbeaten run yesterday as they secured all three points against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad.**

The Citizens are now in pole position to secure a second successive Premier League title as results went their way yesterday, with supporters now extremely pleased. And, to make things even better, it looks as if Pep Guardiola is eyeing a swoop, [as according to Sun Sport, Manchester City are planning a world record raid for Kylian Mbappe.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/7379834/manchester-city-world-record-kylian-mbappe-psg/)

Pep Guardiola wants to make a record £200 million January bid for Kylian Mbappe.

Interestingly, the Spaniard believes the World Cup-winning forward can take the club to Champions League glory.

UEFA are also probing PSG’s finances as part of a Finanical Fair Play investigation.

However, City would have to sell at least one star to keep within FFP regulations themselves, with England striker Raheem Sterling the favourite to be sacrificed.

### **THE VERDICT:**

Kylian Mbappe has already established himself as one of the best in world football at such a young age, so it’s clear to see that he has the ability to become one of the best to have ever played.

Although, losing Raheem Sterling would come as a huge blow for the defending Premier League champions as the Englishman has been simply sensational this season and played a huge part in the last campaign.
