According to BBC Sport, Swansea City are interested in signing Manchester City youngster Joel Latibeaudiere on a free transfer.
The Citizens reinforced their backline over the summer, bringing in Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias, and it now appears that they could lose one of their youngsters who plays in the same position. 20-year-old Latibeaudiere was a member of the England U17 squad that won the World Cup under Steve Cooper, and he could leave City for free.
The Doncaster-born man is yet to make a single appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side, with his only professional experience to date coming with FC Twente, where he played six games on loan last season. So far, he has not done much to show he has what it takes to make it at City, but losing him on a free would be poor business.
Would you be upset to lose Joel Latibeaudiere for free?
The City fans are clearly not happy with the news, and they have taken to Twitter to share their anger.
Let’s see what the City supporters had to say about Latibeaudiere’s potential exit
