A number of Manchester City fans have reacted excitedly to transfer reports linking them with a potential summer move for Ferran Torres.
Spanish media outlet Super Deporte reported that the Valencia winger is top of Pep Guardiola’s shortlist in terms of transfer targets for that position, ahead of Kingsley Coman, Adama Traore and Leon Bailey, amid continuing speculation surrounding Leroy Sane’s future. The news was later shared on Twitter by @City_Xtra.
Ferran Torres (20) is part of Pep Guardiola and Txiki Begiristain's shortlist to replace Leroy Sané at #ManCity – the Valencia winger 'leads the list' that includes Adama Traore, Kingsley Coman and Léon Bailey.

The 20-year-old has made 35 appearances for Valencia this season, with six goals and seven assists to his name, contributing two of each in their Champions League campaign. In a similar vein to Bernardo Silva, he is primarily a right winger but can also be deployed on the left flank, from where he has contributed a few goals. [via TransferMarkt]
The youngster also starred for Spain in their European Under-19 Championship triumph last year, scoring both goals in their victory over Portugal in the final while also netting in the semi-finals against France. [via Marca]
Would Ferran Torres be a good signing for Man City?

Good source! Hopefully we could acquire him for less than 70m https://t.co/TNQbOtWjri

He’s young and versatile, can get behind that

Think he’s the best option o ur of those four, he had more to his game than just raw pace or a good shot, more of a Bernardo/mahrez player who is a good dribbler but also has good pace

This kid is a baller!

He’s the one we should be getting

this is good tbf he’s a nice middle ground between the pace focused sane and the control/dribbling focused bernardo or mahrez
