Man City fans fume as Eric Garcia allegedly delays move to Barcelona as they modify his pre-contract agreement.

According to Marca, via City Xtra, defender Eric Garcia is now delaying his move to Barcelona after they 'modified the amounts' of his pre-agreed contract - with the Spaniard now studying their new offer as Manchester City fans fume over this big development.

The 20-year-old's impending summer switch to Catalonia seemed inevitable, with reliable source and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano saying it was a 'done deal' for June 2021 and 'confirmed' by his club sources way back in January (Twitter).

As well as this, Pep Guardiola himself admitted back at the beginning of March that he was on his way to Spain despite his love for the player (Goal).

Now, in a major development, Marca report that Garcia is now delaying his move to the Nou Camp after they 'modified the amounts' in his pre-agreed deal.

Barcelona's decision to alter the agreement and offer him less has allegedly left him with something to think about - and City supporters have not taken too kindly to this update as his transfer saga drags on.

The starlet has made his wish to leave City for Barca well known over these last six months, and it appears most supporters would just like to part company at this point.
