# Manchester United: £30 million bid for Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham likened to Rooney has fans raging

**According to an exclusive report [from the Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10789796/man-utd-bid-jude-bellingham/), Manchester United have made a [£30 million bid](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10789796/man-utd-bid-jude-bellingham/) for exciting Birmingham City prospect Jude Bellingham as they aim to close off the January transfer window with a bang despite so far failing to land priority target Bruno Fernandes ([A Bola](https://www.abola.pt/Clubes/2020-01-22/sporting-leoes-e-united-com-nova-ronda-negocial-por-bruno-fernandes/825493/147)) – prompting many Red Devils supporters to rage at the news.**

Bellingham, who the Sun dubbed [‘England’s most exciting talent since Wayne Rooney’](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10789796/man-utd-bid-jude-bellingham/), has been turning heads with his impressive performances in the Championship for the Midlands side.
