# Manchester United: Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets stick from supporters despite impressive Wolves outing

**Responding to a tweet from Red Devils fan account [The United Stand](https://twitter.com/UnitedStandMUFC/status/1224081220331622401), some supporters have criticised defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka despite a seemingly impressive outing against Wolves on Saturday – pulling no punches in their assessment of the former Crystal Palace man.**

Wan-Bissaka, who amassed an[88%](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-wolverhampton/dsK) pass accuracy whilst accumulating the highest [SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-wolverhampton/dsK) rating ([7.8](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-wolverhampton/dsK)) out of any United player against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, has since gone on to be at the mercy of these Red Devils fans who think he has been somewhat out of form recently.

Indeed, despite the Englishman’s seemingly solid display which warranted [praise](https://twitter.com/UnitedStandMUFC/status/1224081220331622401) from the United Stand, a section of supporters have replied with criticism over the defender’s recent outings. The former Palace defender, so far this campaign, has averaged [four](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/331924/Show/Aaron-Wan-Bissaka) tackles and [two](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/331924/Show/Aaron-Wan-Bissaka) interceptions per game, more than any other Red Devils player according to[WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/32/Show/England-Manchester-United). However, despite the numbers, these fans still aren’t too impressed and think he shouldn’t be awarded the accolade of best player so far this season.

Find all of their reasoning down below.

> Completely disagree, AWB has been useless offensively and other than the city game he hasn’t been standing out but rashford has been immense and improves the rest of the team while he plays

> Not really. Hes been awful recently. I’d say Mctominay before he got injured

> Cant pass cross shoot and has poor positioning, arguably worse than Luke Shaw winning POTY last season if he wins it. Best of a bad bunch though I guess…

> Absolute donkey….you brought him to get into the top 4 yet he wouldn’t get in any of the top 4 sides.

> Wan bissaka needs to learn how to cross from wide areas often…..offers nothing but garbage up front, only tackling not good enough 🥵
