[![Turan](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/4389018-500x357.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/4389018.jpg?admin)Manchester United supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are looking over to the bar at the news from [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2015/06/29/arda-turan-wants-transfer-tomorrow-manchester-united-have-opened-talks-5271017/) – with the publication claiming that the Red Devils and Chelsea are among a number of clubs who are in talks to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan.

Speculation is growing that the Turkish midfielder will depart Diego Simeone’s side this summer, with a number of clubs keen to snap up the talented 28-year-old midfielder.

Metro claims that Manchester United and Chelsea have both opened talks to try and seal a deal for the playmaker, but there seems to be no frontrunner as of yet.

As our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern quips, Turan is undoubtedly a very effective player, and if he is signed up for a relatively good fee, it could turn out to be an astute bit of business from either Manchester United or Chelsea.

A plethora of United fans playing darts by the pool table are getting excited about the prospect of securing a deal for Turan, and feel if they could tie up a deal for him and Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, they’ll be in real contention to lift the Premier League trophy next term.
