# Manchester United: Angel Di Maria ‘hates’ Red Devils, fans react

**Speaking to Polish YouTube channel [Foot Truck via the Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2020/02/25/angel-di-maria-hates-manchester-united-much-switches-channel-tv-12298925/), young Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Marcin Bulka has revealed that former record signing Angel Di Maria ‘[hates](https://metro.co.uk/2020/02/25/angel-di-maria-hates-manchester-united-much-switches-channel-tv-12298925/)‘ Man United – prompting supporters to discuss the winger on social media.**

Di Maria, who signed for a then-British transfer record of [£59.7 million](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/28926665), endured a torrid stay at Old Trafford during his time in the Premier League – making 32 appearances while scoring just four goals and assisting 12 others ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angel-di-maria/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/45320)). Now, according to Bulka’s comments, it has been revealed that Di Maria ‘hates’ the club he used to play for – citing the fact he has ‘no good memory’ from his brief time there.

Since moving to PSG, the Argentine has amassed an impressive [215](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angel-di-maria/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/45320) appearances in all competitions for the French giants – all the while bagging [81](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angel-di-maria/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/45320) goals and [89](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angel-di-maria/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/45320) assists. Responding to Di Maria’s stance on his time at United, many Red Devils supporters have been going in on the 32-year-old ‘bottler’ – despite one supporter citing the fact that ex-boss Louis Van Gaal ‘[destroyed him](https://twitter.com/twigthewonder/status/1232385543075483648?s=21)‘.

> I can forgive him tho\
> He was a world class player (still is although older so not as sharp)
>
> He came to United and Van Gaal destroyed him. That man couldn’t run a sweet shop

> Lol was thinking that myself! Difference is [@ManUtd](https://twitter.com/ManUtd?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) & their fans no longer give Di Maria a 2nd thought. He’s irrelevant to our history. Yet he seems strangely obsessed with mentioning us in interviews & making excuses. Guess being forever labelled a flop at Utd grates on him!😏

> He’s a bottler. Never Red material. Ashley Young put him in his rightful place.

> Not sure why… he was hardly there long enough to have a cup of coffee. Agreed – good riddance.
