# Man United rivalling Arsenal in chase for exciting European hot-shot

**According to [A Bola](https://www.abola.pt/clubes/ver.aspx?t=5&id=644080) in Portugal, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all monitoring FC Porto’s Andre Silva ahead of a possible transfer move.**

The news has created a real buzz here in the Transfer Tavern with many of regular punters here by the bar looking forward to what has the potential to be a real titanic scrap in the near future.

The three clubs are some of the best represented here by the bar and so when a story like this emerges, the debate is something to behold.

And, looking at the young striker’s stats, whoever gets him could be nabbing themselves a potential star in the making.

Silva has 12 goals this season to his name in the Portuguese first division and has four goals for his country, including a hat-trick against the Faroe Islands.

He looks like he could be the real deal, then, and it’s not just the Gunners, Reds and Red Devils [interested](https://www.abola.pt/clubes/ver.aspx?t=5&id=644080) in his signature.

There’s [reported](https://www.abola.pt/clubes/ver.aspx?t=5&id=644080) interest from Newcastle United, Southampton and Manchester City plus a whole host of European clubs.

This is the kind of story our landlord loves and he can’t wait to see where the youngster ends up – if he moves at all, of course.
