### The Verdict: Good to see

Garnacho appears to be going from strength to strength at Old Trafford and already has [two](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alejandro-garnacho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/811779) Premier League appearances to his name.

Capable of playing on [either wing](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alejandro-garnacho/profil/spieler/811779), the youngster was crucial in the club’s first FA Youth Cup triumph since [2011](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/match-report-manchester-united-u18s-win-a-record-11th-fa-youth-cup-11-may-2022), contributing to [10 goals in six games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alejandro-garnacho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/811779).

He could well be the next big star to come through the club’s [historic academy](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manchester-united/jugendarbeit/verein/985), so making sure he is tied down to a long-term deal appears to be a shrewd call by the board, along with backing Ten Hag with some marquee signings.
