# Manchester United: Fans beg club to sign Leicester City’s James Maddison

**Manchester United fans were begging the club to sign Leicester City playmaker James Maddison after his performance against Arsenal yesterday.**

The midfielder scored a brilliant goal as the Foxes beat the Gunners 2-0 in their Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium.

Maddison seemed to be head and shoulders above the rest of his teammates, playing the joint-most key passes and having the most shots on goal as he terrorised Unai Emery’s side with his attacking threat [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1375999/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Leicester-Arsenal).

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the midfielder in the past, with [The Athletic](https://theathletic.co.uk/1307781/2019/10/21/ornstein-on-monday-man-utd-maddison-ashley-mexican-takeover-talks/?redirected=1) reporting that a deal for the 22-year-old could be completed ‘within a year’.

Love Sport Radio pundit Jamie Thorpe claimed the player is worth £100m, labelling him as an integral part of Brendan Rodgers’ squad [(The Express via Love Radio)](https://www.express.co.uk/videos/6090350494001/Leicester-James-Maddison-is-worth-100-million-says-pundit).

Fans seem to desperately want Maddison at Old Trafford in the near future as they took to Twitter.
