# Manchester United: Loads of fans buzzing Lille’s Boubakary Soumare could sign

**Manchester United are [five points away from the top four](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) and manager[Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHt3-aK-Pos) he’s looking to bring in signings. With that in mind,[Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12691/11909775/boubakary-soumare-manchester-united-and-chelsea-set-to-battle-it-out-for-his-capture) have reported that United have been in talks with Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, and supporters are buzzing.**

The 20-year-old Frenchman has made [six showings in the Champions League this term,](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/345664/Show/Boubakary-Soumar%C3%A9) where he’s been rated 6.93/10 by [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/345664/Show/Boubakary-Soumar%C3%A9). Indeed, the same website notes how he’s a [90.2 per cent passing accuracy](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/345664/Show/Boubakary-Soumar%C3%A9) in Ligue 1 compared to the likes of Scott McTominay at United who’s got [78.8 per cent in the Premier League.](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/336915/Show/Scott-McTominay)

The report also says the player is deciding between Old Trafford and moving to Chelsea, and it was shared on Twitter by Man United news aggregator[Utd Report](https://twitter.com/utdreport). Following that and given Paul Pogba’s [links](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10660460/pogba-man-utd-career-over-transfer-exit/) away from the club, there were plenty of fans in the replies going crazy about the possibility of signing the youngster.
