# Manchester United: Fans drool over thought of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford link up

**As Manchester United put Chelsea to the sword for the third time this season last night, plenty of supporters on Twitter were looking forward to a future with both Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford spearheading the attack. Indeed, the Portuguese January signing was making his away debut for the Red Devils and, as per [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/32/Show/England-Manchester-United), impressed by making 3 key passes at Stamford Bridge – 0.7 above the highest average in the squad up until this point.**

Rashford, of course, has been missing through injury since mid-January and is [thought](https://twitter.com/henrywinter/status/1218946464921083904?s=20) to be due to miss at least another month of action but is the [top scorer](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/32/Show/England-Manchester-United) for the club this season and has been heralded by journalists such as [Barney Ronay](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/07/marcus-rashford-manchester-united-manchester-city-premier-league) for his ability to run in-behind on the counter. So, should Fernandes be able to replicate the kind of passing he displayed in SW6 on Monday evening, perhaps there is a promising future between the two amid [previous problems in terms of creativity](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/15/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-manchester-united-everton) for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how a number of fans online were drooling over it.
