**Manchester United fans are on the edge of their seats after reliable Italian journalist [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1155856882021613569) released an update regarding the club’s pursuit of Harry Maguire.**

The Italian is a famed journalist among Twitter users and has been reliably informing the social media users about a number of stories this summer, including Arsenal’s chase of Lille winger[Nicolas Pepe.](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1155853401902768130)

> Man Utd are in talks with Leicester for Maguire mate, also today they had contacts. But not agreed yet. Maguire is pushing, let’s see! [#MUFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/MUFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

Romano’s reliability rates as one of the highest on the social media platform with the Italian reliably reporting on [Cristiano Ronaldo’s](https://feedfootball.com/fabrizio-romano-reports-ronaldo-has-agreed-deal-with-juventus/) move to Juventus last summer.

The Red Devils have been chasing Maguire all summer long and were even blasted by manager [Brendan Rodgers](https://metro.co.uk/2019/07/16/brendan-rodgers-says-two-bids-harry-maguire-not-anywhere-near-clubs-valuation-10368180/) for their opening bid of the England centre-back in June.

Manchester United haven’t been too active in the transfer market, only signing [Aaron Wan-Bissaka](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48784655) and [Daniel James](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48613872) so far.

Romano’s tweet has excited the Old Trafford faithful with many believing Maguire could be on his way.

Here is a selection of tweets from fans following the tweet by Romano:
