# Manchester United: Fans fume over Jadon Sancho transfer update

**Plenty of Manchester United fans have been raging over a reported update on the club’s drawn-out pursuit of Jadon Sancho.**

Despite [Dagbladet](https://www.dagbladet.no/studio/rykteborsen/628?post=43843) reporting this week that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that a deal can be done before Monday’s transfer deadline, [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/12049863/jadon-sancho-manchester-uniteds-91-3m-bid-rejected-by-borussia-dortmund) reported last night that Borussia Dortmund rejected a £91.3m offer from the Old Trafford club for the England winger.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has since [tweeted](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1311002450468499457) that Dortmund have made clear to United that they will not accept anything less than €120m (£109.64m), with the Bundesliga outfit refusing to soften their stance despite the Red Devils’ apparent hopes that they would do so.

> Borussia Dortmund have told [#mufc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/mufc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) there is no point in bidding less than €120m for Jadon Sancho. There were hopes that Dortmund's stance would soften closer to the end of the transfer window but that has not proved the case [#mulive](https://twitter.com/hashtag/mulive?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) \[[@FabrizioRomano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)\]

United’s links with Sancho [go back to last year](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/15/manchester-united-transfer-jadon-sancho-dortmund) and the inability to get a deal done before the final week of the summer transfer window has [left many supporters frustrated](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/manchester-united-transfer-rumours/man-united-fans-react-sancho-transfer-latest/). Indeed, Donny van de Beek remains the [only arrival at the club](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manchester-united/transfers/verein/985) since the end of last season, despite Solskjaer’s side being [linked with numerous players](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11958215/manchester-united-transfer-news-and-rumours) in recent weeks.

These Man United fans took to Twitter to vent their fury at the update on the Sancho saga, with one disgruntled supporter describing the whole affair as a “circus”:
