# Manchester United: Fans furious with Dan James during Leicester City clash

**Manchester United fans were not impressed with midfielder Dan James during the Red Devils’ Premier League encounter away to Leicester City.**

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side made the Boxing Day trip to the King Power Stadium for a game with massive implications, with the chance to move above the Foxes into second place ahead of the rest of the weekend’s action.

James found himself coming out second best with his individual battles on the right-hand side, despite Marcus Rashford giving his side an early lead before Harvey Barnes’ equaliser.

Per [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-leicester-city/GK), James lost a quite remarkable nine out of ten (90%) of his duels and accumulated a lower pass completion rate than goalkeeper David De Gea with just 65%.

The 23-year-old has scored just six times from 60 appearances for the Old Trafford club ([Fotmob](https://www.fotmob.com/players/717176/daniel-james)) and has come under [intense scrutiny](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/manchester-united/manchester-united-fans-criticise-daniel-james-as-red-devils-move-up-to-fifth-with-watford-win/) from the fans in recent months.

With this in mind, supporters took aim at the Welshman once more with some suggesting that he is seriously impeding the team’s attacking ability on the right-hand side.
