# Manchester United: Fans hit out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after statistic about Marcus Rashford emerges

**Manchester United fans have been hitting out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a statistic about Marcus Rashford emerged.**

[According to The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/01/20/manchester-united-accused-failing-protect-marcus-rashford-following/), no Premier League player has played more games than the 22-year-old since he made his top-flight debut in February of 2016. It seems as though the eight games over the last 28 days has taken its toll on the forward, who was ruled out for up to three months, or longer, last weekend [(via The Telegraph)](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/01/20/manchester-united-accused-failing-protect-marcus-rashford-following/).

One fan simply couldn’t believe what he was reading about the England international.

Ian Wright hit out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for overplaying the [club’s top scorer](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/top-scorers) this season, claiming he did so due to the pressure he was under to deliver [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51184223). As mentioned before, the academy product is the club’s top scorer, having notched up 19 goals in just 31 appearances across all competitions [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marcus-rashford/leistungsdaten/spieler/258923).

Fans were left moaning after the stat about Rashford emerged from the British publication as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful:

> This is honestly disgusting. We’ve been relying on a young player for 4 years and its beginning to impact his health… [#GlazersOut](https://twitter.com/hashtag/GlazersOut?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#SackWoodward](https://twitter.com/hashtag/SackWoodward?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

> Ole has completely ruined Rashfords career. A player so young with a potential career ending injury. Sad to see
