# Manchester United: Fans laud Aaron Wan-Bissaka after emergence of statistic

**Manchester United fans have been lauding Aaron Wan-Bissaka after a statistic about the defender emerged.**

The club’s official Twitter account revealed that the right-back has made more successful tackles than any other player in the Premier League [(via Man Utd)](https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/1197193132548526080).

Wan-Bissaka has been built up a reputation for his brilliant slide tackling ability and was even nicknamed [‘the spider’](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/transcript-of-aaron-wan-bissaka-first-interview-at-man-united) by his United teammates shortly after making the move to the north-west.

Following 46 appearances for Crystal Palace, the England international made the move to the Old Trafford giants, who coughed up [£50m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48784655) for his services in the summer.

He has proven a success so far this campaign, having averaged the most tackles, the second-most interceptions and the third-most clearances within Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/32/Show/England-Manchester-United).

Fans are lavishing the 21-year-old with praise after the emergence of the statistic as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful:
