# Manchester United: Fans laud Cristiano Ronaldo link

**Plenty of Manchester United fans have been lauding a transfer link to Cristiano Ronaldo as [El Grafico](https://www.elgrafico.com.ar/articulo/1044/36127/%C2%BFcr7-vuelve-al-manchester-united?) have reported that he could return to his former club next year.**

As per the football journalist and transfer guru [Christian Martin](https://twitter.com/elgraficoweb/status/1326322868066586624), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team have already pitched a return for the global superstar to his agent Jorge Mendes, which has seemingly sent a lot of tails of the Old Trafford faithful wagging.

Indeed, the Portugal international established himself at the Red Devils before going on to achieve great things in the game with both Real Madrid and now with Juventus.

Ronaldo scored a quite impressive 118 goals and made a further 69 assists in 292 games in all competitions for Man United in six consecutive terms ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cristiano-ronaldo/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/8198/plus/0?saison=&verein=985&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

The [£54m-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cristiano-ronaldo/erfolge/spieler/8198) talisman [won](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cristiano-ronaldo/erfolge/spieler/8198) no fewer than three Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League trophy under Sir Alex Ferguson, as well as several other accolades.

### Manchester United fan reaction to Ronaldo link

These Man Utd supporters lauded the link to their former hero on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/ManUnitedZone_/status/1326557092711370753), as despite him being 35 years of age, they feel as if CR7 still has a lot to offer and that he would also be a sentimental arrival that would please the wider fanbase.

> Yes yes yes\
> 100 percent. CR7 will bring a positivity in the dressing room, a winning mentality. He's used to winning trophies, he'll bring that level of thinking. Imagine martial Rushford and bruno with that mentality. We can kill every trophy
