# Manchester United: Fans loved Scott McTominay’s Norwich City display

**Manchester United secured an important victory on Sunday after seeing off Daniel Farke’s Norwich City in a 3-1 win at Carrow Road, and Sunday’s Man of the Match performer has been garnering considerable praise from some of the club’s fanbase.**

Scott McTominay, 22, has started all of United’s Premier League games so far in the 2019/20 campaign (as shown on [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/336915/Show/Scott-McTominay)), and the Scotsman’s most recent performance was also capped with a goal to open his side’s account against the Canaries.

McTominay’s impressive display against Farke’s side means the Red Devils have climbed to seventh in the league table – seven points outside of the Champions League places – and the 22-year-old’s boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be hoping his midfield regular can make a similar impact going forward as the Red Devils bid to turn around their [worst start](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/sep/30/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-backs-players-worst-start-30-years) to a league season for 30 years.

After McTominay was voted [Man of the Match](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/mctominay-voted-united-man-of-the-match-after-norwich-win?utm_campaign=ManUtd&utm_medium=post&utm_source=twitter) online, these United fans were quick to sing his praises. Here are some of the best reactions from the midfielder’s performance against Norwich.
