# Manchester United: Fans praise Aaron Wan-Bissaka after Twitter post

**Following Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s [New Year Twitter post](https://twitter.com/cantonazort/status/1212105536872730624?s=21) hailing 2019, especially taking into account his huge move to Manchester United in that time, supporters have praised the full-back for his performances in the last few months and wished him well for the second half of the season.**

The former Crystal Palace defender has earned a [good reputation](https://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/manchester-united/man-utd-fans-hail-aaron-wan-bissaka-after-monstrous-derby-display) from supporters due to his tough-tackling and pacey approach down the flank, highlighted further by his unbelievable Manchester derby [display](https://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/manchester-united/man-utd-fans-hail-aaron-wan-bissaka-after-monstrous-derby-display) – a match where he was able to keep Man City star Raheem Sterling [relatively quiet](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB0ffCLzrEE).

Wan-Bissaka, so far, has perhaps proven he could be worth every penny of the [£50 million fee](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48784655) United paid for his signature, with the former England U21 right back showcasing such great ability at a young age.

The 22-year-old has amassed 17 starts so far this campaign for the Red Devils, averaging 4.3 tackles per game, [as per WhoScored.com,](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/331924/Show/Aaron-Wan-Bissaka)the highest of anyone in the squad.

Taking that into account, United fans have lauded the full-back’s brilliant start at the club on Twitter – here’s what they had to say.

> Love your mindset. You’re going to be a legend.
