# Manchester United: Fans praise Anthony Martial after ‘class’ statistic

**According to [numbers from Utd Report](https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1211274504846151680?s=21), Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has been involved in more goals than any other Red Devils player since he [signed](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34107092) from AS Monaco in 2015 – prompting supporters to praise the Frenchman for his proficiency.**

The Frenchman netted his third goal in two games in his side’s [2-0 victory at Burnley](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy87ZOxrj7o&feature=onebox) on Saturday evening, putting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in front before Marcus Rashford sealed all three points in added time.

Martial also [grabbed a brace](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tnckGjvVsE&feature=onebox) at home to Newcastle, unluckily failing to secure what would’ve been a thoroughly deserved hat trick – with supporters now hailing the player even more following a recent statistic.

The 24-year-old has reportedly scored more Premier League goals (41) and had more goal involvements in that time (61) than any of his teammates since moving to Old Trafford.

As a result, supporters have heralded the winger on social media – here’s what they had to say.

> And Mourinho wanted to do a swap deal with Spurs, with Martial going to them and Alderweireld coming to United. Mental that he wasn’t sacked there and then.
