# Manchester United: Fans react to Alex Telles update

**Lots of Manchester United fans have been reacting to an update from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team on Alex Telles.**

As per the official [website](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/man-utd-checking-situation-with-reported-alex-telles-coronavirus-test?t=y&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=appandweb&utm_content=alextellescoronaupdate20201116) of the Old Trafford faithful, they are checking the situation of the Brazil international and will assess him upon his return to the club.

In a potential piece of good news for the Red Devils, Telles may be available for selection for the game against West Brom in the Premier League despite a positive pandemic test, as the medical staff at United sweat on his condition ahead of the weekend.

Indeed, the 27-year-old offers an attacking threat from left-back, having scored a very impressive 13 goals and made a further 12 assists in 49 matches over all competitions for FC Porto in the 2019/20 season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alex-telles/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/255755/plus/0?saison=2019&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

Telles certainly has quality, and so perhaps it is not a surprise that so many Man United supporters are hoping that he will be available for their clash against the Baggies.
