# Manchester United: Fans slam Anthony Martial versus West Brom

**Plenty of Manchester United fans have been slamming Anthony Martial as he missed a great chance to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team the lead in the first half of the game against West Brom in the Premier League.**

Luckily for the France international, his miss did not cost his side in the end as the Red Devils came away from Old Trafford with all three points thanks to a penalty kick from Bruno Fernandes.

Nonetheless, the display of Martial was not the best, as the 24 year-old lost possession of the ball no fewer than 18 times in the game, the third highest out of any of his teammates on the pitch ([Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/west-bromwich-albion-manchester-united/iK)).

He is also clearly struggling in front of goal at this moment in time, with no goals in five matches now in the top flight so far in the 2020/21 term ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/anthony-martial/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/182877/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id=)).
