# Manchester United: Fans slam Harry Maguire following Aston Villa draw

**After Manchester United failed to win again in the Premier League, falling to a [2-2 draw at home to newly-promoted Aston Villa](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z1_kKfUnqc&feature=onebox), some supporters have turned on record defensive signing Harry Maguire following his post-match interview.**

Despite costing a world-record sum after building a strong partnership with former United man Jonny Evans while at Leicester City last season, it seems like the Englishman hasn’t exactly lived up to those lofty standards so far for the Red Devils.

In comparison to his last season at the King Power, the 26-year-old’s [rating on WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/99487/History/Harry-Maguire) has dropped to 6.87 whilst making [less blocks and clearances](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/99487/History/Harry-Maguire) on average.

Whilst this may be expected with it being his first full season at a new club, perhaps some supporters were expecting more from [the £80 million man](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49224905), going in on the defender when he spoke after their latest slip in the Premier League.

Here’s how they responded in full on Twitter.
