# Manchester United: Fans slam Paul Pogba after latest links with summer exit

**According to a [report from Sky Germany](https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/manchester-united-paul-pogba-vor-abschied-aus-der-premier-league/11908690/34130), Manchester United star Paul Pogba could well be on the move this summer with agent Mino Raiola apparently in talks with both Real Madrid and former club Juventus – resulting in supporters blasting the Frenchman.**

Pogba, who has had to sit out the majority of this campaign so far with a [niggling ankle injury](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-injury-news-latest-17561542), has been at the centre of a transfer saga ([Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7778233/Manchester-United-open-door-Paul-Pogba-leave-start-season.html)) with his future at Old Trafford currently in doubt. The 26-year-old, despite having only started [five games](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752/History/Paul-Pogba) in the Premier League this season, has eclipsed fellow central midfielders Scott McTominay and Fred in terms of passing contribution – having averaged [2.3](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752/History/Paul-Pogba) key passes and [0.7](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752/History/Paul-Pogba) through balls in the games he’s played whilst also notching two assists, [as per WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752/History/Paul-Pogba).

Indeed, this could highlight Pogba’s influence in the middle of the park when he can feature, and last season he performed well with an impressive [13 goals and nine assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97752/History/Paul-Pogba). However, some United supporters have blasted the player over rumours he could be set to depart – with one fan in particular drawing comparisons with former Liverpool man Phillipe Coutinho.

Coutinho, who left Anfield for Barcelona in 2018 for a £142 million deal ([talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/329627/philippe-coutinho-transfer-saga-over-barcelona-agree-ps142million-deal-liverpool-brazilian/)), has since gone on to watch his ex-club win the Champions League and dominate the Premier League this season – with a fan-notion emerging that Pogba could suffer the same fate should he campaign for a dream move away.
