# Manchester United: Fans slam Scott McTominay versus Manchester City

**Some Manchester United fans have been slamming Scott McTominay for his display in the 0-0 draw versus Manchester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League.**

The central midfield player did not exactly have a standout performance against their bitter rivals, registering a 6.9 overall rating on [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-manchester-city/rK), the second-worst out of all of his teammates who started the game for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

\[freshpress-poll id=”338136″\]

He lost possession of the ball no fewer than nine times for the Red Devils in the match, and also lost out on five of his duels ([Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/manchester-united-manchester-city/rK)), showing that he was not always the most reliable player for Man United in the derby.

McTominay will surely have to step up his game with a tough Christmas schedule coming up for Man Utd, during which Solskjaer may decide to rotate him with the other midfielders in the squad.
